Hello class of 2001! It is great to see all the familiar faces and read about what everyone is doing. Right after DCH I attended The University of Virginia at Wise. After my freshman year I transferred to James Madison University. I graduated from JMU in 2006 with a B.S. in Kinesiology, minor in biology (original major) and minor in business. I recently started working in Virginia Beach as a loan officer for United Capital Mortgage. I hope all is well and everyone take care!!!

I am still stationed in Norfolk, on the USS Winston S Churchill (DDG 81). We have been coming and going a ton since I reported in January, to include Philadelphia Navy week and New York's Fleet Week and a trip to Ft. Lauderdale, where I celebrated my 24th. We are gearing up for our 7 month deployment later this year. I hope everyone is doing well. Take care.

I am proud to announce the marriage of Megan Garner (c/o 2002) and Tony L. Cooper, Jr. on May 22, 2005. They now have a home in Deep Creek and a baby Chihuahua named Mia. Tony is a propeller tech/welder for Wartsila Lips, Inc. and Megan is employed by the Law Offices of Peter Nicholl. Congratulations to the both of them.

Eric Spiegel (00) and Cheri Lemieux were married on July 15 at Western Branch Community Church in Chesapeake. They will be residing in Blacksburg, Virginia for the next year as Cheri finishes her Master's Degree in English.

I graduated from TCC this past December with two associates degrees and I will be starting NSU in August. I am a Psychology major, I plan to teach at the college level and am considering doing some family or marriage counseling as well. I got engaged in March to Justin Carter of Western Branch, we are planning a beach wedding for May 2006. I am substituting at Deep Creek High School and I am a Pure Romance Consultant....I love my jobs. My favorite job though by far is raising my little man Cody he turned 4 this past April...he's so great! Well I can't wait to hear from all of you...hope everyone is doing well.

Stargel Doane and Ashley Czarny (c/o 03) were married on June 25, 2005. Stargel graduated in May 2006 from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He will begin his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at ODU in Fall 2006. Ashley will graduate from ODU with a B.S. in Psychology in May 2007, and plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology at ODU.

I recently graduated from ODU with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Sociology and have been married to my husband Thomas Farrell for 3 yrs. Our son Brendin is now 3 yrs. old.

Ashley Dougherty Holloman was just recently married on November 20, 2004. She married Brian Holloman a graduate of Tabernacle Baptist School. She is currently a Head Teller at Norhern Star Credit Union. She still lives in the Deep Creek area, and can't wait to see everyone at the reunion!!!!!!! Oh and by the way Congrats to DeAngelo.

I am currently living in Georgia, due to Anthony being stationed at Ft Stewart. We bought a house in GA. I have been married for 2 1/2 years now. I have to sons, Blake Taylor will be 2 on December 2nd, and Brendan Adam was Just born November 1, 2004. I hope everyone is doing well. Hope to hear from some old classmates.

Troy Aubuchon has recently been accepted to the Norishipco Apprenticeship and will be learning the trade of pipefitting. My wife and I are great and we plan on staying in the Great Bridge area.

Diane Mason has become recently engaged to Jason Finck (Class of 1998) Wedding for July 2005. Will graduate in May 2005 from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Biology and plans to attend medical school.

Congratulations to Maribeth Cyphers and her husband Trey Dabney(Class of 1999), on the recent arrival of a baby girl named Madalyn Elizabeth, born on February 5, 2004. They also have a son named Benjamin James born on September 21, 2002.
